A BIT ABOUT ME
I am a beauty and fashion marketer who is passionate about inclusivity. With a strong background in design, I am able to execute work to a professional standard. My strengths lie in graphic design and branding which I demonstrate through my knowledge and understanding of marketing principles and a genuine interest in the industry.
MY EXPERIENCE
I have developed skills in Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign and Premiere Pro through my time at university. In my spare time I have worked as a freelance graphic designer producing new brand identities for several small businesses. I am an active member of the queer community and has worked alongside the university to decolonise the curriculum. I am excited for a future working within the beauty industry where I hope to pursue my dream job as an art director.
MY VISSION
Being a non-binary individual, I has always felt the beauty industry is conveyed in a cisnormative fashion with preconceptions of what beautiful looks like. Makeup reinforces the idea of gender construction through imagery of young women. Having experienced my own challenges in wider society, I feel inspired to explore how the beauty industry can become a community that listens to their members and values their voice.

I am an active member of the queer community and regularly research issues that individuals are facing. I am are particularly inspired by ball culture and the sense of belonging. I want to convey this in my work through inclusivity and representation as there is a noticeable lack within the industry. I want to work with brands to shape the future to be a more inclusive one where everyone feels valued.
